I’m a certified Google Cloud ML Engineer with a PhD in statistical machine learning and a career spanning research, technical leadership and operational Earth Observation systems.

Profile

Making advanced ML useful.

My work sits at the meeting point of machine learning, satellite imagery and systems engineering. I care about the full journey: framing a research question, building a defensible method, and turning it into something people can reliably use.

Today, I develop self-supervised learning, computer-vision and super-resolution methods for Earth Observation. I also build interoperable data services, contribute to European projects, and teach through workshops at events including IGARSS and EGU.

  • Lead technical activities across European projects, including stakeholder work, technology transfer and reporting.
  • Build self-supervised learning, object-detection, segmentation and super-resolution methods for Earth Observation and climate data.
